The pop diva was beaming on the red carpet just weeks after talk-show host
Wendy Williams had mocked her onscreen. After learning that
former "Smallville" star Allison Mack tried to lure Kelly into the alleged sex cult NXIVM — where women are reportedly starved until they’re stick-thin, Wendy quipped: “Kelly Clarkson ain’t going nowhere for an 800-calorie-a-day diet, OK?”

But that wasn't the first time Kelly had been ridiculed. FOX News anchor Chris Wallace had to apologize after saying: "Kelly Clarkson's got a lovely voice. Wallace later said: “I sincerely apologize to Kelly Clarkson for my offensive comment. I admire her remarkable talent and that should have been the focus of any discussion about her.” But the "Voice" judge — who's shown she
can still be glamorous at an estimated 220 pounds — had already said her critics might eat their words. "We are who we are," said Kelly, "whatever size. And it doesn't mean we're gonna be that forever!"
