The disgraced comic — who published a pleading apology within hours of her disgusting display — is now declaring that Trump should really be condemned for how the disgusting photo and video shoot ruined her career. Shortly after Griffin posed like an ISIS terrorist with Trump's "head," she lost endorsement deals and concert bookings. Even fellow comic and U.S. senator Tom Franken finally cancelled an appearance with her — but after apologizing, she's now held a press conference to say: "I think the President is a fool!"

"This is my style of comedy that I do," Griffin declared to the cameras — after having also lost her influential annual gig hosting the New Year's Eve broadcast on CNN. She also complained: "Trump broke me" before briefly crying while taking questions from the press — adding: "I don't think I'm going to have a career after this!"

Comedians Jim Carrey and Jamie Foxx have spoken out in defense of the comic, but her CNN partner Anderson Cooper quickly declared her Trump stunt to be "clearly disgusting." Griffin, meanwhile, said that it was "hurtful" for CNN to fire her from her annual gig. She also complained: "The Secret Service has me under investigation!"

Griffin didn't get much sympathy from pundits and fans, however, with several dismissing her press conference as "the best Trump 2020 campaign commercial of all time." The comic also complained of death threats, and admitted she knew the photo shoot was a mistake "about five minutes" after releasing the images. Still, Griffin insisted that she was right to speak out, saying: "I'm not afraid of Donald Trump. He's a bully. I've dealt with white guys trying to keep me down my entire career!"
