The troubled actor — who starred in "Grease" with John Travolta on both stage and screen — died at age 60 in 2011 after decades of alcoholism and drug addiction. Jeff's heartbroken former fiancée Vikki Lizzi came forward to The National ENQUIRER with the disturbing suicide note from an attempt in 2011, as the depressed star blamed his depression on a sexual assault by Travolta!

"Jeff and John Travolta were great friends for years before 'Grease' was even filmed," claimed Vikki, who dated the sitcom star for over seven years. "They'd spend time over at each other's places all the time. One morning, sometime in the'90s, Jeff awakened with John performing oral sex on him. He was totally traumatized after that."

Vikki said that Jeff claimed he was stunned when he woke up "and his pants were down, and oral sex was being performed on him. John knew that Jeff was not gay." Vikki says Jeff told her that he immediately told Travolta to stop — and wouldn't perform a sexual act on the "Saturday Night Fever" star in return. "Jeff didn't return the affection," said Vikki, "and after that, the friendship went downhill."

Jeff's heartbroken fiancée charges that the alleged incident contributed to Jeff's drug addiction — and, ultimately, his death. Vikki produced the handwritten and signed suicide note where Jeff wrote about the alleged incident before the unsuccessful suicide bid. "Jeff had the letter notarized," said Vikki, "and told me to make sure to share this with the world."

The ENQUIRER could not independently confirm that the two men had sex, but Conaway wrote in the rambling, four-page note: "John Travolta when I was sleeping at his house one night I wake up with him [performing a sex act on me]." Vikki insisted that her troubled fiancé wrote about the alleged encounter because he wanted to make sure this sort of thing never happened to anyone else.

"This led to a lot of Jeff's demons," said Vikki, "and one night, he just wrote it all out and the specifics," she says. Jeff also allegedly told Vikki that John, who played Danny Zuko in "Grease," slept with producer Allan Carr so that his character would sing the showstopper "Greased Lightning" — that was initially slated to be sung by Jeff's character, Kenickie.

Vikki claimed that she was the first person Jeff told about his alleged sexual encounter with Travolta, and she's felt pain and anger over Jeff's heartbreak ever since. "The man I loved was traumatized by his best friend," she said. "It was extremely difficult for him to even describe the situation that happened with John. It was very uncomfortable, but he had to get it out."

Jeff passed away in 2011 after a fall in his home that worsened an earlier back injury — with his suffering made even worse as he continued to fight his addiction to cocaine, alcohol and painkillers. Travolta has denied all of the allegations made by his late friend and co-star.
