John McCain’s former VP pick Sarah Palin has been specifically uninvited to his funeral and other ceremonies — with The National ENQUIRER exposing secrets of the bitter political feud that’s carrying on beyond the grave! The beloved U.S. Senator from Arizona – who lost the 2008 presidential election to Barack Obama — wrote in his farewell memoir “The Restless Wave” that he’d been advised to skip over Sarah to choose former U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman, and then added: “I wish I had.” But sources revealed to The ENQUIRER that while McCain had his own regrets, there was open resentment towards Palin during the campaign from his wife Cindy!

Sources also reported that Cindy quickly took advantage of an early disastrous interview that Sarah did with
Katie Couric — inspiring her husband to blast his would-be VP. "John said she hadn't followed his adviser's preparations for the interview," said a Palin family pal, " and it left her eye shadow running down her cheeks!"

And in her own interview with Couric, Cindy splintered the campaign by stressing that she and her husband's running mate "differ on many issues." That tension sapped the morale of McCain's inner circle, said a top source, who added: "If the McCains [had moved into] Pennsylvania Avenue, America [was] in for one hell of a cat fight!"

For an added humiliation, Sarah went uninvited while her former VP opponent Joe Biden was asked to speak at the funeral. “Out of respect to Senator McCain and his family,” a Palin family source told NBC News, “we have nothing to add at this point. The Palin family will always cherish their friendship with the McCains and hold those memories dear.”
