Janet had said that she hoped to name their child after Michael, who died of a drug overdose in 2009 — but, after first granting permission, her husband later overruled her. Insiders also believe that Janet's late-in-life pregnancy was done at her husband's command — as she canceled a concert tour to grant him his dream of a son! “He told her to shut the tour down,” an insider spilled in 2016. “He said her first responsibility is to herself and him — and not to the disappointed fans!” Her husband had even dictated her performances on earlier tours, said one insider: “He controls the set and approves everything!” the source added.
