Jan-Michael Vincent, once one of Hollywood’s most swaggering hunks, is now confined to a wheelchair — and the former Hollywood leading man is a shocking sight for autograph seekers! “He can barely hold a pen to sign his name,” one disappointed convention-goer told The National ENQUIRER. “His voice is totally shot, too, and he’s gone blind in one eye!”

In a bombshell exclusive, The ENQUIRER reported Jan-Michael’s troubled career had come to a brutal end after an
amputation crisis in 2012! After moving to Mississippi while fighting tax troubles, Jan-Michael told The ENQUIRER he lost most of his right leg due to complications from peripheral artery disease. “An infection in my leg got steadily worse,” he said, adding he’d “blocked out” the operation. “I know I was on life support and a ventilator. When I finally woke up, [my leg] was gone.”

Jan-Michael sadly trashed his career with a series of drunken assaults and DUI arrests that turned the star of big-screen hits “The Mechanic” and “Hooper” into a Hollywood outcast. He rallied briefly with the mid-’80s TV series “Airwolf.” But his character was written off the show after two seasons — with insiders saying he often showed up to work while seriously drunk!

The right leg of his slacks was left unrolled in an attempt to hide his missing limb. Although Anna credited The ENQUIRER for publishing the story “that put him back out there,” an event organizer complained about Jan-Michael’s wasted condition. “We knew about The ENQUIRER interview and were ready with the wheelchair,” divulged the insider. “But we’ve never had a celebrity struggle like this!”

In October 2015, Jan-Michael insisted to The ENQUIRER: “
I’m doing really good!” But his third wife,
Patricia Ann, had to do most of the talking! “He’s working hard, and getting really good with a walker,” she said. “Our goal is for him to walk without a cane!” But less than two years later, eyewitnesses reported Jan- Michael struggled to get out of his wheelchair at an autograph show! The actor kept his wheelchair out of sight near the table where he was barely able to sign photos at the April 2017 Chiller Theatre convention in New Jersey.
