A 2015 Congressional study of nearly 20,000 posts on more than 2,000 online jihadist forums found that “one-fifth of all discussions include an explicit call for more terrorist attacks.” That same study, ordered by the House Homeland Security Committee, estimated more than 250 maniacs from the U.S. have joined or attempted to leave the country to fight with extremist groups like ISIS.

The study found “several dozen” of these battle-hardened fighters have returned to America, where they “pose a serious threat.” Of the 58 American fighters identified by the congressional committee, 26 percent — or 15 of them — were brainwashed in Minnesota, according to the report. There was a recent stabbing frenzy in a shopping mall in the city of St. Cloud by a man screaming "Allah Akbar," but Minneapolis is still considered the true hot spot for homegrown extremists bent on bloodshed!

By comparison, only seven of the radical extremists hailed from California. “They are recruiting more from [Minnesota] than they are from California and New York combined,” Ryan told The ENQUIRER. Most get radicalized “when someone they know and respect introduces them to that world view — and they could meet that person online.”

Orlando killer Omar Mateen, for example, was an online follower of ex-con and former gang leader-turned-imam Marcus Dwayne Robertson (inset) — who preached hatred of gays. FBI Director James Comey said in a recent speech to law enforcement officials that the agency is investigating suspects with ties to ISIS in all 50 states. “We have opened cases all over the place focused on this threat, so it is not … a Washington thing,” he said. “It is something we focus on throughout the FBI.”
