Ahmad Khan Rahami — the Afghanistan native wanted for weekend bombing attacks in New Jersey and in New York City — has been arrested! Police took the suspected maniac, now a naturalized U.S. citizen, into custody after a gunfight in Linden, NJ, that left one officer wounded with injuries that aren't life-threatening.

Explosion Reported in Chelsea Neighborhood of New York City
Rahami was considered armed and dangerous — with authorities noting that he had become a prime suspect after fingerprints were found on some of the explosive devices. "The devices were too deadly for him to be called an amateur," a law-enforcement insider told The National ENQUIRER, "so it's possible he was ready to be found and die as a martyr for the cause."

Investigation Continues Into Bombing In New York’s Chelsea Neighborhood
Authorities haven't said that Rahimi is a suspect in the case of the bombs set in Elizabeth, but believe he set the bomb that went off in Midtown Manhattan on the night of Sept. 17th — and also believe he set off at least one explosion in New Jersey.
