Hoda Kotb & Savannah Guthrie’s New Feud On ‘Today’ Set

Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie enjoyed a brief honeymoon as the newly paired “Today” show co-hosts — but now the knives are out!

Sources told The National ENQUIRER Savannah is jealous of all the attention that’s been showered on her partner and has secretly declared war on Hoda!

“It’s hard for Savannah,” a source dished. “She was in Matt Lauer’s shadow all those years and now she’s in Hoda’s. It never seems like her time to shine. Everyone is fussing over Hoda. Savannah feels like an afterthought.”

Another source spilled: “Obviously with any change comes friction, but it often feels like they’re at war with each other!” Not long ago, Savannah was resentful of “Today” newcomer Megyn Kelly, who took over the show’s third hour.

“Savannah was very worried!” an insider snitched. She publicly welcomed Megyn to NBC but when network brass announced Megyn would get her very own hour of “Today,” the source said, “It had her in a fury! And now she has to share the top of the show with Hoda!”

When Hoda was announced as the new permanent co-host Jan. 2, Savannah made nice for the cameras. “We’re sort of like sisters,” Hoda said of Savannah. “And everybody wants a sister!” A “Today” staffer sniffed, “Yeah, they’re like sisters who want to stab each other in the back!”
