The audio published by The New Yorker is reportedly from a March 28, 2015, hotel meeting — agreed to by Ambra at the request of police after she had filed a complaint about being groped by Harvey just two days before. Police were reportedly ready to charge the producer at the time, but the D.A.'s office reportedly decided that the tape wasn't sufficient for a criminal charge.
