Dolly Parton Snubs Her Secret Sister

Dolly Parton has shamefully snubbed a secret sister — the love child of her deceased father — forcing the girl to grow up like a pauper in a dingy shack just 15 miles from the filthy-rich songbird’s sprawling mountaintop Tennessee ranch!

Laura Bright Moore is the daughter of Dolly’s father, Robert Lee Parton (left). He plunged into a steamy romance with Laura’s mother, Euvella Bright, while separated from his longtime wife Avie (right), mom of Dolly and her six brothers and five sisters.

“We were involved for six or seven years,” Euvella told a source for The National ENQUIRER. “When I told him I was expecting Laura, he was delighted. He’s always called himself Laura’s daddy.” Now 35, Laura was apparently accepted as kin by Dolly and her dad — at first.

“Dolly came to see us once with Lee,” recalls Euvella, 76. “She was delighted at having Laura as a little sister. Laura’s even got the Parton dimples just like Dolly. Maybe she felt Laura was the child she never had.”

But relations turned toxic when Lee, who died in 2000, reconciled with Dolly’s mom after Laura was born — and the families barely spoke. In 1991, an angry Euvella fumed: “He hasn’t seen her or called her in years now. I just feel it’s time he lived up to his responsibilities.”

Laura grew up in a 100-year-old two-bedroom shanty with a rickety den, sagging porch and red rusted-tin roof just a short drive away from her buxom sister’s theme park Dollywood.

Euvella raised her girl on the $140 weekly pay she earned cleaning rooms at a nearby hotel, but sadly got no help from Lee or moneybags Dolly and her husband Carl Dean, whose estimated worth is a staggering $500 million.

“He recognizes she’s his daughter, yet doesn’t pay a cent to help keep her so she can have a decent life,” Euvella declared. Even without help, Laura (left) became a nurse. She’s happily married, living in a four-bedroom Knoxville house. Still, Dolly refuses to meet with her sister.

“If she could only swallow her pride and get in touch," said the source, "they could be a family again!”
