Cameron Douglas is now facing a Wednesday court date after a drug test in April showed that he had been using marijuana — as revealed in court transcripts reported by the New York Post's "Page Six" column. Michael's troubled son had finally been released in 2016 after being busted in 2009 as a drug dealer.

Cameron's probation officers told Judge Richard Berman that Cameron had failed extensive testing that showed Cameron had been puffing pot — with additional tests required after the showbiz scion had been “attempting to manipulate the results.” The officials still recommended leniency for Cameron, saying that relapsing is “part of the recovery process.”

Cameron also insisted before the judge that he was still putting drugs behind him. “I have so much to live for,” he said. “I have a lot of, sort of, goals and aspirations that I think that I’m more than capable of achieving...I’ve worked really hard, and this hiccup is unfortunate, but I don’t see it happening again.”

In a tragic twist, Cameron's original sentence was also extended over drug use during his prison sentence. Meanwhile, the recent relapse also raises concerns over how the news affects Cameron's 100-year-old grandfather Kirk — who once shocked his family by wanting to travel cross-country to visit his beloved grandson in prison.
