Bob Barker was rushed to the hospital on Oct. 22 after what his manager described as “a major flare in back pain” — just weeks after the 94-year-old TV legend had called an ambulance to his Los Angeles home over a harrowing “medical emergency!” Ambulances swarmed Bob’s home on Oct. 9, with authorities even announcing they were conducting a death investigation. But after several agonizing hours, the longtime host of “The Price Is Right” was given the all-clear. “It turned out not to be a death. It was a medical emergency only,” said an LAPD spokesman. Thankfully, that was once again true with the second emergency, with Bob now reportedly “resting.” Insiders, however, had already told The National ENQUIRER of how the TV veteran is fighting to stay alive to make amends for past scandals!

The emergency call came almost a year to the day
after Bob broke down at the gravesite of his beloved wife, Dorothy Jo Gideon, at Los Angeles’ Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills cemetery. She passed away in 1981. Bob also cleaned her headstone during the 20-minute vigil — and he expects that he’ll soon be laid beside her, said insiders.

“Everyone’s praying for Bob, but his health is deteriorating rapidly,” said a pal. “We fear his final curtain could come any day!” And despite the TV star's fears over his legacy, another close source said that he's also ready for the end. “Bob’s not afraid,” said a pal. “I think he can’t wait for the day when he and Dorothy will be reunited.”
