“I am publicly asking for a criminal investigation of that district attorney and his cohorts,” wrote Camille. “This is a homogeneous group of exploitive and corrupt people, whose primary purpose is to advance themselves professionally and economically at the expense of Mr. Cosby’s life. Camille didn't just stop there, though. She also compared her once-beloved husband to civil-rights icons who were unfairly prosecuted. “Since when are all accusers truthful?” asked Camille, invoking the woman who accused 14-year-old Emmett Tillman of sexual assault in 1955, “only to later admit several decades later in 2008 that her testimony was false.”

Camille also compared her husband to Darryl Hunt, “an African American who in 1984 was wrongfully convicted for the rape and murder of a white woman.” And in a final bizarre twist, Camille blasted Judge Steven O'Neill, saying that she wanted to thank witnesses who would've testified to defend her husband — “but for the judge preventing them from testifying.”
