Ben Affleck’s New Girlfriend — Their Secret History Exposed

Ben Affleck is getting busy with his new “Jennifer Garner look-alike” girlfriend Lindsay Shookus — and only The National ENQUIRER has the scoop on the new couple's long-simmering hookup.

Emmy-winning blond knockout Lindsay has long worked as a big-shot producer at NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” and was married in 2010 to Kevin Miller, who also worked for “SNL” and is now supervising producer for “Late Night with Seth Meyers.”

They have a young daughter and apparently live on separate floors of the same New York apartment building. “Ben still cares for Jen and the kids, but his heart belongs to Lindsay right now,” tattled our source. “They met some time ago when Ben was hosting ‘SNL,’ and there was an immediate spark. Ben and Lindsay flirted and stayed in touch through Ben’s appearances on ‘SNL.’”

After Ben and Jen separated, the actor reached out to Lindsay and passion flared, blabbed the source. “They had secret meetings at hotels in New York and Canada, but never went out for fear of being photographed together,” spilled the source. Although Ben’s reps denied their hookups, the source said the clandestine couple even communicated through a secret email account!

“At some point, Ben even bought Lindsay a ring from Harry Winston, the jewelers. Jen found out when the store called Ben’s house,” said the source. “Jen met face-to-face with Lindsay and demanded she return the jewelry. Lindsay says she’d return it, but only if Ben asked for it back.”

The actor’s reps denied that, but “Ben and Lindsay had a few rendezvous while he filmed ‘The Batman’ movie,” noted the source. “Ben pledged to work on his marriage and tension subsided, but he continued to see Lindsay in secret. She was the woman who ultimately ended any hope of reconciliation between Ben and Jen.”

As The ENQUIRER was first to report, Ben abandoned his family in April 2015, and sought “self-discovery” at a Buddhist monastery outside a tiny town of 650 residents in Nova Scotia, Canada.

After a decade of marriage, the power couple announced plans to divorce on June 30, 2015, amid reports of Ben’s out-of-control gambling, boozing — and alleged cheating with the family’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian!

Although the A-list pair seemed close to mending their marriage recently, they “amicably” filed for divorce on April 13. Former “Alias” star Jen filed divorce documents in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing irreconcilable differences, and Ben filed an identical response. The pair did not use a lawyer and are asking for joint legal and physical custody of their children.

They recently enjoyed a five-day getaway at the luxury Atlantis resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, where they were spotted with their kids — Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5. The 6-foot-4 hunk, who completed a rehab stint on March 14, had ballooned from 208 pounds to a chunky 256, and friends feared Ben was eating himself to death.
