“Angelina was absolutely heartbroken over Brad and Jen getting back together. She never thought it would happen,” an insider told The National ENQUIRER. “She’s seeing a therapist to cope with anxiety and tension. She goes once a week, but she’s considering going more often.”

Sources said Angelina got wind of Brad and Jen's secret hookups even before the former “Friends” star announced her split from Justin. “Angelina had heard from friends that Brad and Jen have been meeting up,” said the insider. "She’s refused to believe it ... but now she knows it’s real. It’s her worst  nightmare."

The deeply depressed and skeletal mother of six is “totally humiliated” that Brad is seeing Jen before their divorce is final, sources said. As The ENQUIRER reported, humanitarian Angie suffered yet another blow when “First They Killed My Father,” which she directed and co-wrote, failed to receive an Oscar nomination.

The “Tomb Raider” star is also struggling with the responsibility of raising her and Brad's six kids as a single mom. In a last-ditch bid to reconcile with Brad, the actress sent a coded message to the “Fury” hunk by slipping a ring that he’d bought for her in Cambodia back on her finger.

“That was a Hail Mary pass to Brad to consider taking her back,” a source tattled. “But he completely shut her down — and she was a total mess!” Soon after, disturbing photos showed the emaciated “Salt” star’s weight had plunged to a life-threatening new low.

“She looks like she weighs no more than 83 pounds!” said nutrition expert Dr. Stuart Fischer, who has not treated Angelina. What’s more, she no longer has a strong support system, according to insiders. Her father, Jon Voight, is not around, and she’s drifted away from her brother, James Haven.

She’s also ditched her one-time BFFs, political activists Chloe Dalton and Arminka Helic. “Now this Brad and Jen thing has really touched a nerve. Angelina realized she couldn’t cope on her own anymore,” our source snitched.

“She’s saying therapy has done wonders for her, and she should’ve started it long ago," said the source. "She’s desperate to pick up the pieces of her life.”
