Roseanne Barr may be persona non grata at ABC, but the ousted sitcom queen will soon appear at the podium of the Knesset — Israel’s parliment!

In a planned tour of the holy land with World Values Network head Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (left), outspoken pro-Israel activist Roseanne “meet with numerous leaders,” the rabbi said in a statement announcing Barr’s invitation to speak at the Knesset.

“I very much look forward to my trip as a lover of Israel and friend of Rabbi Shmuley and ambassador of the World Values Network,” Roseanne said.

“While I intend to further my own knowledge of Jewish and Israeli history,” she continued, “I have important work to do as a voice against the insidious and anti-Semitic [Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions] movement.”

Since leaving ABC in a firestorm over a racist Twitter rant in which she compared former Barrack Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett to an ape, Roseanne’s comeback has struggled to regain traction.

While there’s been talk of developing and owing a show of her own, as well as rumors of a return to an ABC that may have acted too hastily, a high-profile address before the Knesset  — a platform usually afforded heads of state and political luminaries — figures to be game changer for the exiled star.
