Madonna is ready to go to court over ex-husband Sean Penn!
But in a weird twist, the blonde diva is defending the weirdo actor that she was married to for four turbulent years!
She’s made a legal statement to help prove that Sean was never an abusive husband!
Sean is suing TV mogul Lee Daniels, who’s behind the hit show “Empire” starring Terrence Howard.
Lee had complained earlier this year that Terrence had been unfairly blacklisted by Hollywood over claims of domestic abuse.
Lee said that his “Empire” star “ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s a fu–in’ demon!”
Sean quickly filed a $10 million defamation lawsuit to protect his reputation.
The ENQUIRER had covered the famously feuding couple throughout their marriage, and reported that Madonna and Sean had some all of Hollywood’s all-time greatest screaming matches!
The pop diva admitted to that, too — saying in her sworn statement in Manhattan Supreme Court that the couple “certainly had more than one heated argument,” but also stated that Sean had never “struck me, ‘tied me up’ or physically assaulted me.”
The National ENQUIRER revealed back in 2014 that Madonna was ready to get back together with the husband that helped her make headlines back in the 1980s.
And after Sean broke up with actress Charlize Theron, The ENQUIRER was there to catch Sean following his ex-wife on tour!
Now it looks like the two are bonding more than ever — and there could be more heated arguments during a trip back to the altar!
