Talk about jumping the gun! Kim Kardashian clarified on Monday, May 6, that her fourth child has not yet arrived.
“Wait just saw news our baby boy came but that’s not true!” she tweeted. “It’s Met Monday, I’m in NYC. I would be at the hospital lol.”
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gave followers the update after multiple outlets reported that the social media mogul’s fourth child with husband Kanye West had made his big debut — on the same day that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry (for real) welcomed their first child, no less. The stories were published after E!’s Daily Pop reported that the couple’s surrogate had given birth.
The 38-year-old reality star didn’t help the matter either when she tweeted a text thread earlier Monday that read:
This is your life
Married with four kids
Get people out of jail
Cover of Vogue
Go to church every week with your family
Dreams come true.
The “four kids” led many followers to believe that the baby boy had already made his arrival.
Prior to this premature news, Kardashian threw a CBD-themed baby shower on April 27, when she told attendees that the little boy would be arriving in about two weeks. During the shindig, she also explained why she chose the theme that she did for the party.
“I thought it was kind of ridiculous to have a fourth baby shower,” she told her guests. “But, I thought, ‘I’m freaking the f—k out having a fourth kid.’ … So everyone have a puff or put on some oil!”
Kardashian and West are already parents to North, 5, Saint, 3, and Chicago, 15 months.
