Just hours after announcing he’d backed out of hosting the 2019 Academy Awards telecast in response to backlash over homophobic tweets from his past, photographers caught Kevin disembarking a private plane in Sydney, Australia.
As RadarOnline reported, the now deleted tweets included one from 2009 in which the comic said: “Yo if my son comes home & try’s 2 play with my daughters doll house I’m going 2 break it over his head & say n my voice ‘stop that’s gay.’”

In another embarrassing tweet mined from the super-successful comic’s Twitter feed, he called someone a “fat faced f**.”
His resignation from the Oscar gig and chastened apology did little to mollify the angry social-media mobs.

“I swear man, our world is becoming beyond crazy.” he said in an Instagram post. “I’m not going to let the craziness frustrate me or anger me especially when I worked hard to get to the mental space where I’m at now.”
Which, at the moment, is Australia — where his “Irresponsible” world tour continues in a series of concerts with tickets in the $70-100 range!
