Life-saving surgery has left Katherine Jackson, 89, seemingly dazed and confused — and struggling to remember her son Michael’s biggest hits!
That’s the shocking claim made by Jackson family insiders, who said the octogenarian matriarch underwent a delicate operation several weeks ago and possibly suffered a stroke.
“She had a procedure in July,” a second source confirmed.
Although a rep for Katherine denied there was any recent surgery, the insider said the procedure had been on her brain.

As The National ENQUIRER reported in December, a golf ball–sized growth was found in Katherine’s brain after she complained of headaches.
Frail Katherine currently lives with oldest daughter Rebbie, 69, who brought her wheelchair-bound mom onstage at a Diana Ross show on Aug. 17 in a desperate bid to “bring her to life!” an insider claimed.
“She even sang one of Michael’s songs, ‘You Are Not Alone,’ to try and get her to respond!” spilled the source. “Katherine didn’t seem to know who Diana Ross was, and I’m not sure she even recognized it was Michael’s song.”
