Former President George H.W. Bush was secretly rushed to a Houston, Texas, hospital just months after “an acute respiratory problem stemming from pneumonia” — with the crisis reportedly covered up because the ex-Prez didn’t want to worry anyone over the Easter weekend!
A spokesman for the 41st President confirmed that Bush, 92, had been in the hospital since Friday, April 14.

“President Bush is in very good spirits and is being held for further observation while he regains his strength,” said Bush spokesman Jim McGrath — who said that Bush ended up hospitalized over a persistent cough that was robbing the frail Prez of vital sleep.
Doctors diagnosed the cough as a sign of the returning pneumonia. Bush remains in the hospital for observation — in the latest trip to the hospital for the struggling politician.
He had last been admitted to Houston Methodist Hospital in January for the earlier attack — joining his wife, former First Lady Barbara Bush, who had been hospitalized at the same time for bronchitis before being released the same month.
