New York’s notorious classroom cannibal is cooking up a plan for freedom!
In 1979, Albert Fentress was among the most beloved teachers in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., but when his home was targeted by vandals he wrote a script of unthinkably bloody revenge on a local boy. Horrified by what he had written, he burned the script.
Shockingly, he made his vile vision a reality after luring 18-year-old Paul Masters into his home.

He told officials that scenes from the movie “Deliverance” were playing in his head as he led the teen into his basement. He then sexually assaulted young Paul after tying him to a post!
After Fentress’ lust was quenched, he castrated Paul before shooting him twice in the head.
With the innocent teen dead, the teacher saved his most revolting act for last — cooking and eating parts of the corpse!

The next day he turned himself in, claiming he had no memory of perpetrating the unspeakable acts.
A year later, he was declared not guilty by reason of insanity and has since languished in mental hospitals, biding his time until he could petition for release.
That order was expected to expire March 27, and Fentress, now 74, has indicated through his lawyer that he will seek release.

It’s not the first time he has sought his precious freedom. At a hearing in 1999, district attorney William Grady described the danger Fentress posed to society if allowed out.
“This man is a cannibal,” said Grady. “It is an utter outrage that a killer who is still mentally ill will be released into a community without supervision to wander about freely. It is beyond my comprehension.”
And yet, the nightmare scenario could become a reality!
