Bullied Blanket Forced To Change His Name!

Blanket Jackson

Bye-bye, Blanket! Hello, Bigi!

Tormented by years of bullying, Prince Michael “Blanket” Jackson II has shed the oddball nickname his famous dad gave him, The National ENQUIRER has learned.

Blanket is now Bigi – and we discovered the 13-year-old’s swap by obtaining the seventh grade yearbook from prestigious Buckley School in Sherman Oaks, Calif.

“He always thought that the name Blanket sounded so stupid, and resented his father for calling him that,” an insider dished to The ENQUIRER.

“Growing up, his schoolmates have always been mean to him … going by Blanket made him a much easier target for ridicule.

“When he entered Buckley, he told classmates that his name is Bigi, and that’s what they call him.”

Bigi seems to be living up to his new name, which is of German origin and suggests idealism, sensitivity and inspiration.

Since Michael Jackson’s death in 2009, Bigi, his 18-year-old brother, Prince, and sister, Paris, 17, have been under the conservatorship of their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, 85, and cousin T.J. Jackson.

“Bigi is definitely the opposite of Paris and Prince. He’s more on the quiet side,” added the source.

“Michael would be proud of him. He’s really sweet, funny and helpful. He volunteers to help the younger kids, and he’s really good with them.”
