Man Steals Daughter’s Girl Scout Cookie Cash to Get Dirty Massage

Dad even faked home invasion and called police to trick his daughter!

Talk about low! A dad in Oregon pleaded guilty to giving a false report on Monday, May 20, after he admitted to law enforcement that he made up his tale about a home invasion and burglary so he could steal his daughter’s money from selling Girl Scout cookies — to get a XXX rubdown!

It all started on March 6 when Brian David Couture called 911 to report that there was a robber in his home, and that the intruder had assaulted him. According to the Washington County district attorney’s office, police saw blood spattered around the ransacked home when they arrived. The 40-year-old dad’s laptop also appeared damaged, and about $700 was missing from a jar that held the little girl’s earnings from selling the tasty treats.

Local CBS affiliate KOIN 6 also reported that Couture was found unresponsive and was transported to a hospital.

But it didn’t take long for detectives to spot some problems with the shady dad’s story. According to the district attorney’s office, as investigators continued to question Couture, he finally admitted he made up the whole thing.

“Couture told police that he stole the money from his daughter to pay for an erotic massage and faked the robbery when he realized he couldn’t explain the missing funds,” per the district attorney.

The judge sentenced Couture to 80 hours of community service and restitution, which will be determined later. He’ll also have to pay a $100 fine, and will be on probation.

But the Girl Scouts want their money too. In a statement to Fox 12 after Couture’s arrest, the organization said it was working with police to recover the stolen money. “Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington is following our normal procedure to collect on funds owed,” the group stated. “The stewardship of Girl Scout troop funds is a top priority for our organization, and that is our focus in this matter.”
