In a move that would merit a badge for heartlessness, a man stole all the money raised by a 12-year-old Girl Scout selling cookies outside a Walmart in Deltona, Fla.
The Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said little Lacey Lee was stationed outside the store when a man approached her table, snatched the money and leaped into a waiting vehicle.

Police said the suspect arrived at the store with a woman and a young girl — who allegedly drove off with the cookie monster and his ill-gotten booty.
A Volusia County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson declined to say exactly how much cash was heisted, but said: “I’d characterize it as a significant amount of money for a hard-working 12-year-old girl.”
Authorities added that the suspect will face a misdemeanor theft charge, because the amount stolen was between $100 and $300.
