The newest royal is making its way into the world! Buckingham Palace confirmed on Monday, May 6, that Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is in labor with her and Prince Harry’s first child.
The couple, who married in May 2018, announced their pregnancy in October, but have decided to keep the baby’s gender a secret — even from themselves!
The little duke or duchess will be seventh in line to the throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Prince Louis, and dad Prince Harry.
And in a National ENQUIRER exclusive, sources dished that the former actress, 37, is desperate to make sure she gets her pre-baby body back ASAP after giving birth, and has already short-listed top-notch surgeons to ensure she gets what she wants.
“She is obsessed with the way she looks,” one palace insider explained to The ENQUIRER. “It’s one of the reasons why she’s breaking tradition. It’s her worst nightmare to be photographed when she’s not looking her best!”
Ahead of the baby’s arrival, the duchess turned her back on royal tradition, refusing to delivery her first child at the posh Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s Hospital, where Princess Diana gave birth to William and Harry. It is the same hospital where Duchess Kate Middleton welcomed her three children and famously posed for photos with the newborns shortly after giving birth. Instead, an insider revealed in a world exclusive interview with The ENQUIRER, “Meghan is set to bring her child into the world at the vegan-friendly Mulberry Suite at the Frimley Park Hospital near their new home, Frogmore Cottage.”
Markle even allegedly planned to use yoga and hypno-birthing techniques while forgoing the medications. Dished an insider, “Meghan’s been practicing labor-coping yoga techniques focused around breathing patterns and chanting in rhythm to cope with the pain of childbirth.”
