William Shatner has his phasers set to kill a paternity suit filed by a radio talk-show host! The "Star Trek" icon is asking a court in Florida to dismiss a $170 million lawsuit by Peter Sloan. With his name now legally changed to "Peter Shatner," the alleged love child claims the beloved Captain Kirk became a father in 1956 after a brief affair with Canadian actress Kathy McNeil. Shatner's legal motion, however, says his so-called son doesn't have a case!

Star Trek: Mission New York – Day 3
Shatner is asking the court to dismiss the lawsuit filed in Florida because he doesn't own any property there, or even any business connections to the state. The star also says he never had any kind of coupling in the state that could have given him a kid. The court document also says Peter took too long to make a claim: "Sloan would have been at least 31 years old when the Complaint was filed, well past the age of majority and time bared from bringing any claim for paternity against Mr Shatner."

Peter first went to court against his alleged parent in March 2016. Then he published a book that blasts Shatner as a dad in denial. "The Search: How I Met My Father — William Shatner" includes Peter's claim that he tracked down his birth mother in 1984 and recorded a conversation with McNeil's former roommate, who told him that his mother had come to New York City to get an abortion after being impregnated by the future "Star Trek" icon, who was just beginning to break into Canadian television.

The lawsuit filed by Peter in Tampa, Fla., claims that he was finally able to meet Shatner on the set of the "T.J. Hooker" police drama in 1984 (as pictured) — and the star admitted that he “was [the] plaintiff’s father.” But a week later, according to the court documents, William’s rep told him the actor was “totally denying paternity” and refused to take a DNA test.
