Who’s That (Working) Girl?

Melanie Griffith showed up at Church Boutique in L.A. last night for her pal Loree Bodkin’s birthday party, a sponsored event called “Shades Bubbles and Baubles” — but perhaps she should have worn a name tag, because the “Working Girl” star was pretty much unrecognizable!

Mel’s face looked unnaturally stretched and tighter than her skinny jeans! Alana Stewart (Rod’s ex-wife) looks have the right idea, going with a softer, more natural look.

As The National ENQUIRER revealed, Melanie, 58, is just two months removed from finalizing her divorce with “Zorro” star Antonio Banderas, 55. According to the terms of the deal, she gets $65,000 a month in spousal support — and she got to keep the couple’s house in Aspen, Colo.! So relax, Mel.

Melanie is in the midst of shooting her latest film, “Where the White Man Runs Away,” the story of a journalist who embeds himself among the pirates of Somalia. Mel plays the reporter’s wife — so maybe all the stress and tension from the taut thriller seeped into her face.
