Wendy Williams Health Crisis — Leaving Show For Three Weeks

Wendy Williams has announced that she's leaving her hit daytime show — saying: “My doctor has prescribed — are you ready? — as of today, three weeks of vacation!”

The sudden break comes after a series of bizarre on-air health scares. Wendy actually fainted onstage during her Halloween show in 2017, but was also caught staggering on stage in other recent shows. Fans had also been concerned over the charismatic's host recent subdued behavior — right before she canceled her Valentine's Day taping over “flu-like symptoms.”

As previously reported by The National ENQUIRER, Wendy suffers from Graves’ Disease and hyperthyroidism — with her medical issues also complicated by the stress of a turbulent personal life. That includes her husband Kevin Hunter being accused in Sept. 2017 of keeping a mistress who lives just nine miles from the couple's New Jersey mansion.

Some viewers mocked Wendy's sudden Valentine's Day cancelation — saying that she was really keeping an eye on Kevin at the time. But now Wendy is making it clear that she's just making her health a priority. “What I want to say to women, more than men, is stop putting everyone first,” she said. “Because if we’re not good, they’re not good!”
