Who will end up on top? Tom Petty’s two daughters, Adria and Annakim, are feuding with their stepmother, the late singer’s widow Dana York Petty, over who will control his estate.
In the latest legal filing, Dara accused the girls of trying to prevent her from acting as a trustee, which would make it impossible for her to manage his estate, TMZ has reported.

But the girls aren’t backing down! Adding fuel to the fire, Adria has filed a petition with a probate court saying that Dana has failed to honor two of the requests Tom had laid out in his will.

Adria’s docs claim that Tom’s will gave her and her sister equal input on all estate decisions while Dana is claiming that Adria and Annakim “have conspired to push her out.”

On top of that, the sisters are insisting that Dana has refused to transfer her father’s artistic property assets out of his trust. The will allegedly required her to move the assets into a separate company so they could be accessed by all three women — but she failed to do so.

So now, Adria is asking the judge to have Dana comply with her dead father’s will!

"On behalf of the Tom Petty family we are devastated to announce the untimely death of our father, husband, brother, leader, and friend Tom Petty," a statement said at the time. "He suffered cardiac arrest at his home in Malibu in the early hours of this morning and was taken to UCLA Medical Center but could not be revived. He died peacefully at 8:40 p.m. surrounded by family, his bandmates, and friends."
