This is Stephen Paddock — and now his brother has spoken out about the numbers-cruncher who slaughtered at least 50 revelers in the worst mass shooting in American history!

“We have no idea,” said Eric Paddock when speaking to a reporter from the Reuters news service. “We're horrified. We're bewildered, and our condolences go out to the victims.” Authorities have turned to Paddock's female companion Marlilou Danley for more answers, with over 200 more injured in the deadly Las Vegas shooting during a country music festival.

Paddock was originally reported for being known to Las Vegas police — but it now appears that he only had a history of traffic violations. He is said to have worked in accounting, and previously lived in Mesquite, Nev. Police say he had no prior criminal record there.

Police say that Paddock had 10 rifles stockpiled in the Mandalay Bay hotel room that he used as a sniper's nest while aiming at concertgoers during the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival.
Jason Aldean was onstage as Paddock began slaughtering the country star's unsuspecting audience. The 64-year-old was reportedly living in an upscale retirement community with Danley.

Danley was originally identified as a "person of interest" by Las Vegas police — with insiders saying that Paddock had used her ID to rent the hotel room used for his brutal massacre. She was out of town on Oct. 1, however, and is no longer considered an accessory or suspect.
