Sources claim that Hannity's days on the network are numbered after his longtime supporter Bill Shine was removed as co-president at Fox News. The conservative host warned before the firing that Shine's departure would "be the total end of the Fox News Channel as we know it.” Hannity is reportedly still under contract to Fox until 2020, though — having passed on an opportunity to leave the network when disgraced Fox News boss Roger Ailes was sent packing.

But media insiders believe that Hannity might not be welcome at Fox for that long. New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters says the host is already in the “in the crosshairs” of the sons of media mogul Rupert Murdoch. James and Lachlan Murdoch have been credited with all the network's recent big changes —
and Peters warned that Hannity's “almost propaganda-like attitude and programming every night” doesn't match the "new direction" pursued by Murdoch's offspring.

Like the doomed O'Reilly, Sean's has also had to fight off recent boycott threats and charges of sexual harassment — with fellow conservative personality Debbie Schlussel claiming Hannity had tried to lure her back to his hotel after a book signing, and once when guesting on his top-rated show.

Hannity responded by accusing Schlussel of being a "serial harasser"who was about to hear from the "finest and toughest lawyers in the country." After making the accusation, Schlussel denied that she'd charged Hannity with sexual harassment, saying: “I never thought I was sexually harassed by Sean Hannity — I thought he was weird and creepy.”

But longtime media insiders still believe that Hannity is targeted by both liberal activists and the Murdochs. Warned one insider: "James and Lachlan care more about being at the right dinner parties than keeping conservatives on Fox!"
