Despite the huge success of the rebooted "Roseanne," the Comeback Queen of Comedy had been complaining
that the show's grueling schedule is causing a rapid decline in her physical condition. “Roseanne is alarmed by how badly her eyesight has deteriorated in recent years,” said a source, “and is terrified she may soon lose her sight!”

Roseanne's eye problems were originally diagnosed as incurable macular degeneration, but the outspoken comic has now revealed that her doctors were wrong. Instead, said Roseanne, she has “a mole on the inside of my eye that’s growing and that’s why my vision is narrowing.” She insisted, “I’m not losing my eyesight.”

However,
the struggling star also said that she needs to get the mole removed — since it could possibly turn into a malignant cancer. Until then, an on-set "Roseanne" insider claimed that the comic's vision problems had her keeping “a production assistant constantly around her to help read her lines — and to make sure she doesn’t stumble over any- thing on the soundstage.”

Another source added that Roseanne requires “ice packs [that] she constantly has on her knees while the cameras aren’t rolling,” with the star relying on a personal golf cart to get around the studio. That's after major surgery when Roseanne slipped and broke her kneecap in three places while visiting San Francisco in 2016. Insiders say it adds up to health fears at a terrible time — “just when she’s become a star again!”
