Prince: How He Hid The AIDS Drugs That Killed Him

Prince died as a tragic addict hiding the drugs he used to self-medicate his suffering from AIDS! Now the bombshell exclusive by The National ENQUIRER that exposed the rock icon's tragic secret has once again been confirmed by reports out of Minneapolis — as authorities provide new information on how Prince overdosed on a powerful synthetic opioid called fentanyl!

In the latest troubling development, Prince's massive stash of pills were examined by law-enforcement personnel who found Prince had hidden away fentanyl in his other medications — including one stash that was put in a bottle of Aleve and intentionally mislabeled "Watson 385."

The ENQUIRER revealed how the infamously reclusive star had covered up his increasing reliance on drugs — which began with injuries suffered on the stage, but became more serious as his frail body was ravaged by AIDS. Some uses of fentanyl — which is 50 times more powerful than heroin — has been endorsed by the National Institutes of Health as "effective for chronic pain in ... patients with AIDS."

Prince had successfully hidden his AIDS diagnosis from the public, and the new reports also indicate how even the star's closest advisors were kept from learning about his health. The sources  claim that a vast variety of painkillers — including oxycodone and codeine — were found in bottles of Vitamin C and aspirin.

Insiders also confirmed that Prince was carrying the concealed drugs when his private plane had to make a desperate stop in Illinois on April 15 as he suffered a near-fatal overdose. The ENQUIRER revealed shortly after Prince's death on April 21, 2016, that the earlier incident was caused by the AIDS-stricken star's reliance on painkillers.

“Prince was addicted to pain meds for years," an insider told The ENQUIRER shortly after the star's death. "He overdosed on Percocet on the morning of April 15 while flying back to Minnesota from a show in Atlanta. The plane had to make an emergency stop — and medics had to give Prince a special drug that stops overdoses!"

Insiders also insisted that Prince — whose body was found dressed for death in a "black cap, black shirt, grey undershirt, black pants, black boxer briefs, [and] black socks" — had committed suicide after doctors had given the tormented musician just months to live. Previously, the devout Jehovah's Witness had insisted that his AIDS would be cured by prayer!

The ENQUIRER later published the final coroner's report from the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office — and the disturbing document confirmed the legendary rocker passed away from a "self-administered fentanyl," with multiple sources reporting that the deadly overdose included Percocet.
