Pauley Perrette shocked fans with a series of troubling messages after leaving "NCIS" — but her father has confirmed that the beloved actress is "doing great" now that she's finally fled the troubled set!

RADAR Online has the exclusive interview with Paul Perrette, who said that his daughter is “in better health now than she’s been in ages” — adding: “I’ve told her that she just needs to take a break for a while.” That's after Pauley went public with disturbing claims about enduring "multiple physical assaults!"

As earlier covered by The National ENQUIRER, Pauley was reportedly moving on from her long-running show after years of an ugly feud with "NCIS" star Mark Harmon. Fans noticed that Pauley didn't have a single scene with her longtime co-star as she left the show after 15 seasons as forensic scientist Abby Sciuto.

Insiders said Harmon — who serves as an executive producer while also playing chief investigator Leroy Jethro Gibbs — had kept holding a grudge after Pauley complained about the star's dog being allowed on the set after the pit-bull mix savagely attacked a crew member. Perrette pushed to have the canine banned “to protect my crew” — but, say sources, she was the one shown the door!

Pauley would later hint at a “very powerful publicity machine” with “no obligation to truth” that was out to smear her. She also insisted that she had suffered “multiple physical assaults” and “bullying” while cryptically hinting that her old boss Harmon was behind the ugly situation!

But, claimed a source, Pauley's relaxing new life doesn't mean she's put her "NCIS" days behind her. “She’s not going to go away quietly,” said an insider. “Now she’s ready to get her revenge — and blast Mark with both barrels!”
