Pamela Anderson is not pleased. The former Baywatch star and boyfriend Adil Rami were at a soccer fundraiser hosted by Olympique Marseille on Tuesday, April 23, to benefit needy kids when she left in protest, according to The Washington Post.

The reason? The $111,000 netted by one of the auction items up for bid reportedly went to help the reconstruction of Notre Dame, which was terribly damaged by raging fires in mid April, instead of toward helping children living in poverty.

51-year-old actress tweeted on Wednesday, April 24. “While raising a meaningful amount of € for a great cause. Then [embarrased face emoji] ‘big surprise auction item’ came to raise money for rebuilding Notre Dame???”

“Surely the children suffering in Marseille could have used the 100,000 € more than the church that has already received over a billion in donations by billionaires,”

Fox News that
the star’s boyfriend Adil, who is a defender on the Olympique Marseille team, was very generous during the auction and “tried to buy almost everything.” The insider noted that “Pamela was very disappointed” that the proceeds from the biggest auction item didn’t go toward helping children.
