Andranik Karapetyan got a gold medal in grossing out his audience during the Olympic in Rio — as the Armenian weightlifter strutted out to the stage and lifted 429 lbs. The show of strength was supposed to be an impressive maneuver. Instead, the Olympian had viewers screaming as the heavy weight turned his elbow inside-out! [WARNING: Graphic Video Follows...]

This is the horrific moment when the 20-year-old champ's left arm completely gave way on his way to the gold. The moment was even more horrific for the Armenians in the crowd, since Andranik was a favorite to beat out the competition. It would have been Armenia's first win during the Rio Olympics, as well.

Andranik was carried out of the competition on a stretcher. There were reports that he was being treated for a dislocated elbow.
