Mariah Carey is joining “The Voice,” but show veterans Blake Shelton and Adam Levine are reportedly unhappy about her new role as an advisor on the show’s 15th season. RADAR Online reports from behind the scenes that there’s real drama over Mariah making the move, with a source saying: “No one wanted her to join the show…they don’t want the drama and stress she brings to shows she’s on.” But the show’s stars were “overturned by NBC,” added the insider — which means the network bosses are ignoring years of Mariah’s bad behavior. her bodyguards, trainers, stylists, florists, masseuses and makeup people have access to the plane at all times. Plus the show needs to pay their salaries...not to mention she’s picked out a mansion with a spa, pool and recording studio — all on the 'X Factor’s' dime, of course."

struggling star might be on her best behavior after some career setbacks. “Mariah wants to be more full-time as a coach,” added their insider, “so she’s trying to make a name for herself on the show. This gig can allow her a chance to be a coach next season!”
