Kim Kardashian — after years of hair-punishing dye jobs to turn her hair pink to blonde to black and back  — is terrified of going bald!

“Kim’s always looking to set trends with her endlessly different looks, but the result is her hair has become brittle and is falling out in clumps!” Kardashian family insiders spilled to The National ENQUIRER.

The hypersensitive reality star went ballistic recently when fans started buzzing she’s been wearing a wig! “I just don’t get it!” she griped on Snapchat (left). “I DYED my hair…. Get the f--k out of here with that wig s--t!”

But sources said Kim’s nuclear overreaction erupted precisely because she is beside herself with worry over losing her locks!

“Her hairdresser has warned her to stop using harsh bleaches or risk going bald!” an insider added. “Kim’s in a real panic because her hair is her crowning glory!”
