Jon Gosselin Quits TGI Friday’s — The Inside Story

Jon Gosselin used to be a reality-show star with wife Kate Gosselin and their kids. That was before a brutal divorce in 2009 left her to be "Kate Plus 8." Now he's been forced to give up his job at a TGI Friday's in rural Pennsylvania! Jon quit working in the kitchen after being embarrassed by co-workers who posted a photo of him at his new gig. But The National ENQUIRER had already caught him waiting tables while plotting a failed comeback!

In October 2015, The ENQUIRER found Jon (having moved in with his mom) desperately courting an old girlfriend in New York City. "Jon has really hit rock bottom," a source said, noting the ex-star once earned $22,500 on his family reality show!

Jon was needy enough for a comeback to be reunited with publicist Hailey Glassman — an ex-lover who'd once called the cops on the struggling celeb! She had first met Jon when straight out of college, and the two broke up the same year that Jon was divorced. That was when things got ugly!

Hailey filed a harassment complaint against Jon with the New York City Police Department. Jon claimed Hailey trashed her apartment. And the bitter ex-girlfriend later detailed Jon's "shortcomings" in an interview, saying: "He's hung like a 9-year-old boy!"

But The ENQUIRER caught the two looking happy together, with Jon very interested in Hailey's new job as a publicist. "Jon is trying to turn things around with Hailey's help, and get a little good press in the process," said an insider — but whatever the two were celebrating fizzled out!

Jon's now unemployed in Lancaster, Penn. — and says he's bitter that he had to leave "a job I'm passionate about." He may not mean being a prep cook, though. The restaurant also let Jon play DJ once a week as the town's local celebrity!
