A bombshell report out of the Pentagon blasts the “clearly inappropriate and personally shocking” behavior by mortuary officials who offered "a peek" at Glenn's corpse while it was awaiting burial at a U.S. Air Force base. Glenn, who also served as a U.S. Senator,
died in December 2016 — but wasn't buried at Arlington Cemetery until April 2017.

The report shamefully admits that Glenn's family had trusted personnel at the Dover Air Force Base in Delaware to “ensure an increased level of privacy and security for a renowned public servant, Marine Corps officer, and pioneer of space exploration.”

Deborah Skillman, the Defense Department’s director of casualty and mortuary affairs, wrote the revealing document — adding that the offers to view Glenn's remains were “made in the presence of, and observed by, junior personnel on the Dover Mortuary Branch staff.”
