Several sources have claimed that Jennifer signed an "ironclad" prenup before the couple's ill-fated marriage. Sources told The National ENQUIRER, however, that Jennifer originally didn't care about taking steps to protect her $120 million fortune!

"She didn't have a prenup when she married Brad Pitt," said one pal. "She's a hopeless romantic, and was convinced that she'd found her soulmate again!" Fortunately, Jennifer's anxious lawyers and loved ones had the support of Justin.

The actor and screenwriter was already worth an estimated $10.5 million when he married Jen in 2015. "Jennifer knew that Justin wasn't after her money," said one pal, who claimed the star finally agreed to the legal papers after Justin told his fiancée that he wanted her to "feel protected."

That worked out to the relief of Jennifer's inner circle, who'd earlier told The ENQUIRER that she was "being foolish" over refusing to cast a shadow over "her second chance at a happy marriage." Now the couple have been reported to be squabbling over diamond rings and comic books — with sources saying Jennifer's now just feeling "foolish" over Justin's quick return to dating!
