The beauty queen parroted by
Hillary Clinton at Monday’s debate is more scandal-scarred than the candidate thought!
The National ENQUIRER has exclusively learned the
former Miss Universe was once accused of driving the getaway car in a brutal attempted murder! Alicia Machado was supposed to be an attack dog against
Donald Trump, but now her disturbing past — complete with charges of death threats made to a judge — has become another embarrassment to Hillary's campaign!

Police in Venezuela said that Alicia was caught driving the getaway car after a gunman pumped two bullets into a grieving widower's head! The shocking attack happened in Nov. 1997, when Alicia was dating Juan Rodriguez Reggeti. His sister Maria had recently jumped off a balcony while eight months pregnant, and Reggeti blamed his brother-in-law Sbert Moukso. Eyewitnesses told police that Alicia drove the car that helped the gunman flee from the church in Caracas where Sbert was shot!

"Our accusations against Alicia Machado are based on coinciding testimony from witnesses, who place her in the vehicle in which Juan Rodriguez fled the scene," said Sbert's lawyer — while Alicia insisted: "There has been a gross exaggeration. The situation has caused me great sadness."

Meanwhile, her attorneys said that Alicia (seen here in the gym during her time as Miss Universe) had been filming an episode of her new television series "Samantha" at the time of the shooting — and the show would later be promoted with tie-ins to Alicia's appearances in court!

Things got more complicated for Alicia when Maximiliano Fuenmayor, the investigating judge for the case, said that Alicia had called him on the phone — first threatening to ruin his career, and then saying that she could have him murdered! The judge added that Alicia (seen here in the gym during her time as Miss Universe) had boasted of her powerful connections, including then-President Rafael Caldera.
Alicia admitted to making the phone call, but insisted that she had called merely to thank the judge for being unbiased. Sbert survived the shooting, and — according to news reports out of Venezuela — later left the country without testifying in the trial. All charges were dropped.

Alicia's now seeking new fame in a video promoted by Hillary where she goes after Donald Trump for forcing her to lose weight in 1997! Trump had famously sent Alicia to a gym after she packed on a reported 35 pounds, while the beauty queen insisted: "I recently had four wisdom teeth removed, and that has made my face look somewhat puffy."

By the time that Alicia handed over her crown, the Republican candidate — who no longer owns the Miss Universe pageant — said: "We're happy to see her reign end." Hillary, however, may not know about all of the former Miss Universe's problems with Trump's company. In addition to the weight gain, Alicia also complained about having to pay taxes on the prizes that were awarded her in the Miss Universe pageant.

Still, Alicia didn't always hold a grudge against Trump. She was once asked about returning to work with Miss Universe while Trump still owned the brand — and replied: "Absolutely! For better or for worse, I am Venezuela's fourth Miss Universe!"
