Barry Lubin — beloved by celebrities as Grandma the Clown with the Big Apple Circus — has confessed to
coercing a young gymnast into making kiddie porn below the Big Top!

Lubin resigned from the popular Manhattan show after Zoey Dunne came forward with shocking accusations that he had paid her to pose for pornographic pictures in 2004 — when she was a 16-year-old aerialist working with the show. “The allegations are true,” the 65-year-old clown said in a statement. “What I did was wrong, and I take full responsibility for my actions.”

It was sickening news in NYC, where Lubin had built a big celebrity following. The Big Apple Circus was also being blasted for continuing to work with Lubin. Zoey said that she first reported him to Big Apple brass in 2012, and was told that he was no longer with the show — only for her to see him rehired in 2017!

“I was not aware of any allegations until [Jan. 19],” said Dr. Neil Kahanovitz, who became the new board chairman for the Big Apple Circus in 2017. Zoey had reported that Lubin had brought her to his trailer in Lincoln Center for what she thought was a “mentorship opportunity,” only to be exploited by the creepy clown.

Lubin reportedly paid her $100 to pose in a thong and feign excitement while imagining a date with
Ashton Kutcher. Grandma the Clown is now officially gone from the Big Apple Circus — with the circus now scrambling to change the advertising for their national tour, which was playing Alpharetta, Ga., when Zoey came forward again with her story.
