"This morning," said the statement released by the power couple, "Amal and George welcomed Ella and Alexander Clooney into their lives. Ella, Alexander and Amal are all healthy, happy and doing fine. George is sedated and should recover in a few days." The dose of double happiness — as first reported by The National ENQUIRER — came as a big shock to the "Oceans Eleven" star, who spent years as one of Hollywood's most confirmed bachelors before finally marrying human-rights attorney Amal in 2014.

“George was terrified that giving birth would be dangerous for Amal,” a source dished, as the couple prepared to welcome their twins at their home in Sonning, England. But other aspects to the birth weren't left to chance — including the news that the couple was having both a boy and a girl.
