CUBA-US-OBAMA
Fidel Castro died laughing — after he pulled the wool over President Obama’s eyes by pretending to live like a peasant in a “fisherman’s hut!” The bitter truth was that the 90-year-old former revolutionary, who handed over power to his brother Raul, lived like a filthy-rich capitalist! “Fidel Castro is nothing but a fraud,” said one high-ranking insider in the Cuban leader's final days, mocking Obama's certainty that lifting America's embargo on the Communist nation would enrich the island’s people.

A shocking National ENQUIRER investigation exposed Fidel as a phony “man of the people” who secretly squirreled away hundreds of millions of dollars — much of it in the form of payoffs for protecting sleazy drug dealers! The troubling investigation also revealed that Castro had his pick of 20 lavish homes, including a duck-hunting lodge and a tropical island paradise with a floating restaurant!

Former bodyguard Juan Reinaldo Sanchez ripped the lid off the Cuban tyrant’s greedy and corrupt lifestyle in his blockbuster book “The Double Life of Fidel Castro.” In a bombshell revelation, he disclosed that much of Fidel’s lavish lifestyle was financed by drug dealing. Juan says Fidel became rich from payoffs for protecting Colombian and Panamanian smugglers importing drugs into the United States.

Sanchez also wrote of learning that his leader “was caught up in cocaine trafficking to such an extent that he was directing illegal operations like a real godfather.” The drugs were often earmarked for the U.S. Juan estimates that Fidel died while being worth hundreds of millions of dollars — while the average Cuban earns just $20 a month and waits in bread lines for food.

Meanwhile, Fidel hid away in one of nearly two dozen top- secret homes — including his estate on the secret island of Cayo Piedra, 10 miles off the southern coast of Cuba. “While ordinary Cubans suffered, this is where Castro would relax,” Sanchez wrote. In addition to the restaurant, Fidel's island setting boasted of a helipad, a dock for his massive yacht, a turtle pen and a special enclosure for two trained dolphins.

Fidel’s main residence in western Havana, Punto Cero, had a basketball court and a private hospital. The once-radical revolutionary always surrounded himself with beautiful women, too. He was constantly cheating on wives Mirta Diaz-Balart and Dalia Soto del Valle (pictured), who finally became his widow.

“He cheated on the first [wife] with the very beautiful Havanan Natalia Revuelta, and on the second with ‘comrade’ Celia Sanchez, his private secretary, confidante and guard dog for 30 or so years,” Sanchez wrote. Even after the U.S. renewed relations with Cuba — and Obama visited Raul Castro in Havana — sources expected Fidel to live like a king while his people struggled!

“Obama’s visit to Cuba may signal the beginning of a new era,” said the insider as the sanctions were dropped, “but it will be the same old Fidel. He’ll never change” — adding: “His people are dirt poor, and he just doesn’t give a damn. They have absolutely no idea how he’s pulled the wool over their eyes for decades!”
