Erin Moran — beloved as Joanie Cunningham on "Happy Days" — died as a homeless drug addict after being snubbed by her Hollywood pals! The doomed star had been kicked out of her mother-in-law's trailer in the Indiana town of Corydon after being forgotten by stars like Ron Howard and Scott Baio. Her former fellow cast members paid tribute after Erin's body was found on April 22 after a suspected heroin overdose. But The National ENQUIRER revealed that even Henry Winkler couldn't save Erin from being ignored while still alive!

Erin made headlines when she refused to attend a "Happy Days" TV reunion in 1992 after falsely accusing the former "Fonzie" of sexually harassing her when she was just a teen. She even declared that all of her old costars were "evil!" Then she thought that she could make amends when she signed on to join her "Happy Days" TV parents Marion Ross and Tom Bosley — along with "Arnold's" restaurant owner Pat Morita — to promote their old show's return to the Nick at Nite cable channel.

"When Erin made those comments four years ago, her career was in the toilet and she was under a lot of stress." an insider said at the time. "She told me recently: I don't know what I was thinking. I said a lot of crazy stuff back then. I think I was just bitter.'" But Pat forgave her, and an eyewitness said: "It was a very emotional moment as Marion and Tom gently held her in their arms. Marion told her, 'We're just glad you're O.K., and you're back. Any time you need someone to talk to, Tom and I will be there for you."

Hollywood still held a grudge — as Erin learned when she took her first acting job in 12 years on a 1998 episode of "Diagnosis: Murder" that reunited "Happy Days" cast members. Scott Baio didn't appear despite having been a regular on the show with Dick Van Dyke, and Anson "Potsie" Williams also skipped out — despite having directed episodes of the show. Erin was only joined by Pat and Don Most, who had starred as "Ralph Malph" on the show.

The ENQUIRER reported in 2012 that Henry Winkler couldn't get Erin a job on his show "Arrested Development"— which was produced and narrated by Ron Howard. Sadly, Erin died of a reported heroin overdose just as it seemed that other cast members were ready to forgive her. Anson Williams had seen Erin at a personal appearance in 2016, and told The ENQUIRER: “I wish she’d get back into acting, because she seems much more together now. She’s a really good actress...She was in a very positive place, and that was really nice to see.”
