Donald Trump Is Sworn In As 45th President Of The United States
Donald Trump has lost a member of his "Magnificent Seven" — with Michael T. Flynn out as National Security Advisor after just 24 days in the job. The new President moved fast after the retired U.S. Army lieutenant general was linked to improper communications with the Russian ambassador to the United States. Insiders said that Trump originally tried to support his new hire after claims that Flynn improperly discussed Russian sanctions with the ambassador — but accepted Flynn's resignation after it seemed that Flynn might have knowingly lied to Vice President Mike Pence about the conversations.

During her own email scandal, however, even the left-leaning Huffington Post declared Hillary to be "the anti-Petraeus," complaining that Trump's biggest rival was still insisting "that she had done nothing wrong and her actions were allowed." After his disgraceful resignation, Petraeus still remained a top White House advisor in the Obama administration. But that connection could come back to haunt Petraeus as Trump considers him as the new National Security Advisor — with some right-wing pundits insisting that he's really "Hillary Clinton in a better pantsuit!"
