“Rachel and Daniel haven’t been happy for a while, and nearly called it quits last year,” an insider told The ENQUIRER at the start of 2017. The couple had started the year filming in separate locations, but remained apart even after their respective movies were finished. They finally made an appearance in NYC in July after they hadn't been seen together in 554 days!

The ENQUIRER had contacted the couple's reps about another bombshell exclusive on their rocky relationship. The very next day, the couple was photographed arriving at New York’s Public Theater. “The whole thing just seemed like too much of a coincidence,” said an insider. “I don’t buy it for a minute!”

The ENQUIRER also revealed how Daniel even initially turned down a $150 million deal for two more Bond films to work on his marriage. While he's finally signed back on to Bond, he still isn't shy about trying to put his family before his career. “Being on your own would be sad, sick and weird,” said Daniel. “I don’t trust myself. I need that balance.”
